I read somewhere that soaked sunflower seeds can sometimes stand-in for cashews. Other thoughts are soft tofu drained or maybe avocado? If you try it, let me know how it turns out. Also, I'm guessing that it would work fine without the sesame seeds, but again, haven't tried it. I think part of their role is nutritional.
